Registered Nurse-Podiatry (Anderson)
The incumbent uses the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, evaluation) in the delivery of safe, high quality care. He/she must be able to manage the care for a group of patients. The incumbent provides routine foot care including nail trimming, removal of skin lesions, and steroid injection therapy (as available demonstrated evidence of training and competency).Actively participate as a wound team member, providing clinical support to the multidisciplinary wound care team. Participates effectively in team meetings and treatment planning conferences, and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members that enhances coordination of comprehensive patient care. Identifies and documents patient education and assumes responsibility for the management of patient care. Performs other related duties as required by Nurse Manager. Work Schedule:
