Roles and Responsibilities
This critical position offers the first impression of our brand to our patients and is a front line customer service representative.
Roles and responsibilities include:
o Reception and Greeting
o Patient registration and computer documentation
o Verification of insurance and payment collections
o Secure required authorizations and coordinate specialist referral appointments
o Collection of patient balances and payments
o Variety of administrative duties to include communicating via typing, scanning, faxing, email, and telephone
Requirements
o Experience working with insurance in a medical office is required
o Exceptional Customer Service Skills and ability to manage conflict to a positive resolve
o Ability to identify challenges and create solutions for a myriad of day-to-day obstacles
o Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
o Strong attention to detail in written and oral communications
o Excel in a team-focused environment
o Successful candidates are able to smile through at twelve-hour workshift
Education and Experience
o High School Diploma or Equivalent required
o Knowledge of EMR not required but a plus.
o Fluency with the Spanish language viewed favorably.
Pay commensurate with experience. MEDcare offers competitive compensation and attractive benefits.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
