An optician is directly responsible for providing customers with exceptional service and driving sales to meet company goals and objectives. This position requires a lot of teamwork and provides a great opportunity to join a growing and successful company.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous optical experience
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to present and sell eyeglasses, features, and specialty lenses
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to use optical knowledge
Accurately transcribe words and numbers
Adhering to and promoting all host office policies, procedures, and regulations
Assist in dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses to patients
Meet and/or exceed pre-established Company goals
Correctly operate equipment necessary to adjust eyewear
Coordinate the delivery to eyewear products to customers according to Company guidelines
Listen and respond immediately with an appropriate level of concern to all patient issues.
Analyze, solve, and correct customer service issues
Check status and notify patients when orders are delayed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
