SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Production Trainer is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving a formal training program for production press/assembly operators.
Every associate at Techniplas has an obligation to contribute equally to hold others accountable and improve processes and systems.

JOB DUTIES &
Essential Functions:
Responsible for New Hire Training Train employees to meet quality objectives per job work instructions.
Clearly define and explain training goals to trainees and sufficiently answer any questions they may have.
Effectively explain and train individuals in a standard and consistent manner to eliminate quality issues which arise from individual/assumed techniques.
Measure training program effectiveness and outcomes using methods such as interviews, product/process audits, etc.
Print and award training completion certificates to trainees after full completion of training program.
Work closely with Human Resources, Plant Supervisors, Quality, and other assembly/press operators to determine trainees' needs, coordinate training schedules, and assess training effectiveness.
Utilize multiple forms of media to help assist and train individuals (such as PowerPoint, video, manuals, diagrams, DVDs, and plant specific on-the-job training).
This position requires initiative, creativity, patience, organization, and a natural inclination to explain concepts in a clear & helpful manner.
Decision making in this position requires a consistent, analytical, and unbiased thought process and behavior to evaluate the success/failure of trainees in meeting their certification goals.
Perform continuous product/process audits to ensure that operators are performing per SOP.

Qualifications:
Skills & Abilities Functional computer skills with knowledge of Windows, Adobe, PowerPoint, Word, Excel are required.
Strong oral and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and leadership abilities are required.
Because the training area is one of constant change, this position requires an individual who is highly adaptable, flexible, open to change, and able to lead others through change positively.
Education & Experience High School Diploma/GED is required.
Successful completion of the Train the Trainer program or equivalent will be required.
Previous experience in a production Trainer role is highly preferred.
Plastic Injection Molding background is helpful.
Demonstrated ability to be a reliable, responsible team player focused on producing a top-quality product.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
