6K a year Primary Purpose This position exists to provide a resource for faculty, staff, and students to enable them to take full advantage of campus technologies, and to assist in the use of multi-media facilities and equipment.

pdf Essential Functions Provide first-level contact and problem resolution with multimedia hardware and software applications, online education software, and other peripheral devices used within classrooms, conference rooms, and event spaces.
Setup, support, assists with, and operates a variety of audiovisual equipment for University related business and events.
Equipment includes but is not limited to:
video projectors and displays, cameras, microphones, audio mixers, and other peripheral devices.
Assist with web, audio/video conferencing applications like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Setup, support, and assists with campus digital signage system.
Deliver and retrieve equipment as designated.
Assist with administration of multimedia/computer labs.
Collaborate in the planning, design, and implementation of technologies for classrooms and event/meeting spaces.
Create training, instructional media, and documentation to help all University community members better use instructional and meeting technologies.
Marginal Functions Other duties as assigned by the Director of Classroom Technology and Media Services.
Essential Knowledge and Skills BS degree required in an area of appropriate specialization At least 2 years of relevant audiovisual/multimedia experience preferred Knowledge of classroom related audio-visual/multimedia hardware and software preferred Basic computer knowledge required for both Windows and Mac Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects within the deadline Ability to learn new applications and systems Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments Ability to adapt well to change Working Relationships Position reports directly to the Director of Classroom Technology and Media Services Physical and Mental Effort Requires initiative and creativity in problem-solving Requires judgment and organization in assigning priority to jobs and balancing workload Requires the ability to handle physical weight loads of up to 50 pounds for hardware installations Requires the ability to climb ladders to perform overhead installations Regular Work Hours/Travel Requirements Standard University work hours are 8-5 for a 40 hour week Occasional travel between Campuses in Anderson and Greenville Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed for certain events About our Commitment to Diversity Anderson University is a private Christian institution of higher education committed to developing a diverse campus and culture that is reflective of God's Kingdom and biblical unity.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
