Currently operating in 12 locations across three states, we are poised for growth and seek an experienced Director of Food Operations to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
We are excited to introduce a new leadership role within our organization - Director of Food Operations.
This pivotal position requires a CDM (RD preferred) with a strong background in multi-site operations, ideally within the long-term healthcare or hospital setting.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our food programs, both in existing operations and supporting the company's growth initiatives.
Key
Responsibilities:
1.
Oversee and optimize food operations in multiple locations, ensuring compliance with dietary standards and regulations.
2.
Collaborate closely with Regional Vice Presidents to align food programs with overall community goals and objectives.
3.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality assurance measures to enhance the overall dining experience for veterans.
4.
Lead and inspire on-site teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
5.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and nutritional quality across all facilities.
6.
Act as a key liaison between the corporate office and on-site teams, providing guidance, support, and reporting on performance metrics.
7.
Manage the transition and integration of food operations in new facilities as the company expands.
Qualifications:
1.
CDM (Registered Dietitian preferred) with a strong educational background in nutrition and dietetics.
2.
Proven experience in multi-site operations, ideally within a long-term healthcare or hospital setting.
3.
Track record of successfully managing and enhancing food programs.
4.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with the ability to oversee existing operations while contributing to growth strategies.
5.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization.
6.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Location and Reporting:
This position will be based in Anderson, SC, and will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate Operations.
