Mental Health Professional I - Forensic Services
Job ResponsibilitiesWith our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Oconee County Clinic, 115 Carter Park Drive, Seneca, SC 29678 of the Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center, 200 McGee Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
In this position, you will provide advanced counseling interventions in Oconee and Pickens Counties to patients with serious mental illness in a Law Enforcement Setting to promote recovery services for patients with severe mental illnesses ensuring linkages for therapeutic needs.
Minimum and Additional RequirementsState Requirement:
A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.
Center Preferred:
A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and one year post master degree experience.
Preferred QualificationsBilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
