Job ResponsibilitiesWith our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
This position is located at assigned Pickens County Detention Centers and the Department of Mental Health, Pickens County Clinic, 337 West Main Street, Easley, SC, 29640 of the Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center, 200 McGee Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
In this position, you will provide counseling interventions in Pickens Counties to patients with serious mental illness in Detention Center and Law Enforcement settings to promote recovery services for patients with severe mental illnesses ensuring linkages for therapeutic needs.
Minimum and Additional Requirements A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.
Preferred QualificationsCenter Preferred:
A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and one year post master degree experience.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
