Reporting to the Director of Post-Traditional Undergraduate Admission and Advising, the Assistant Director will serve as a university liaison and primary resource for prospective post-traditional students, generating post-traditional applications to the University through focused recruiting efforts designed by the post-traditional staff.
With the overarching goal of upholding enrollment goals of Anderson University, the Assistant Director will travel to SC Technical Colleges and provide detailed information on university programs, services, and enrollment process to prospective students.
This position will act as a central communication resource to new applicants and ensure students receive personalized support by answering questions pertaining to post-degree programs, prerequisites requirements, financial aid processes, and register admitted students for their first-class schedule.
The Assistant Director must collaboratively maintain working relationships with the Transcript Processing Team, Post-Traditional Undergraduate Academic Advisors, College Deans and Graduate Program Directors as well as SC technical and community colleges.
Additional monitoring, follow-up, and tracking within Slate (CRM) and Workday (Student Information System) and other duties may be assigned.
A bachelor's degree and three years of recruitment or college admission experience are required.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with Slate CRM and Student Information Systems is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, exceptional organizational and time management skills, and a keen attention to detail are needed.
Must be able to connect, motivate, inspire people and work within a team.
This position is an on-site role that requires regular travel.
