This position is open to someone still in college or someone with a BS in Microbiology.
On-site in Anderson, SC with the hours 6am-4:
30pm Thursday through Sunday ideally.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for testing of finished products, various studies and raw materials Update microbiological SOPS and perform product testing and analyses to decide appropriate response Lead routine testing of finished goods, raw materials, and samples Interpret results and hold confirmative testing Monitor the schedule for lab equipment to ensure everything is in compliance with proper protocols Oversee microbiological inventory Recommend proper action regarding rejection of production Comply with cGLP requirements Other tasks and projects as needed
Qualifications:
In the process or has completed a BS in Microbiology 1-5 years of industry experience Ability to strongly communicate both verbally and written Knowledge of equipment like autoclave, colony counter, microscope, incubator, and other equipment Job Type:
